Ogden Temple Open House

On the 7th of August, we rode the long journey on the FrontRunner all the way up to Ogden.  Two hours there, and two hours back (not to mention the lovely, greasy feeling that automatically comes with spending a large chunk of time on public transportation).  What was it all for?

The most wonderful thing in the world -- a new temple!  Or at least the re-do of a temple!  Members of our church believe that temples are the House of God on earth.  We had the wonderful opportunity to walk through this newly renovated temple to see it before it is dedicated in September.  Though we believe it too sacred to photograph inside, we got some great pictures outside:

Also, we may have enjoyed the photo opportunity in the visitor's tent a little too much...

We are so grateful for so many temples so close to us here in Utah, and we are likewise grateful that we were sealed there and get to participate in saving ordinances there!
