Thursday, September 17, 2015, 9:59pm: Our lives were forever changed with the happy arrival of our little guy! We took a few hours (almost the whole first day of his life) to decide on a name, but are pleased to announce that Kyle Nicholas joined the Jones clan as the newest member. And arguably the cutest -- at least those squishable cheeks sure are!
At 10 lbs, 8 oz and 22 inches long, he came into the world as a big little dude. He also gave us a bit of a scare when his second night of life he was in the NICU. However, that was only for a few hours, and he eventually got his blood sugar levels worked out. (Turns out when you are such a big baby, getting your insulin levels regulated is a bit difficult!)
We've lost many hours of sleep, but this guy and the future he promises us make it oh so worth it. Welcome home, Kyle!
p.s. He is a tooting machine. And did we mention we love him?
